I enjoy the incredible Arctic sunsets driving along the E8 Finland Sweden border. I have my coldest temperatures yet needing my grille cover and a border issue which got the van get searched by Norwegian customs

I continue my drive north, with a plan now to attempt to reach Nordkapp, The most northerly point in mainland Europe.

I start by driving up the E8 highway along the Finland Swedish border where I experience some of my coldest conditions yet at -27c

-27, was so cold the engine could not keep its operating temperature whilst driving and there was no heat for the cabin heaters so this was the first time I used my grille cover and it made an instant difference.

Crossing the Norwegian border seemed like it went okay until the customs vehicle came after me turning me around and returning me to the border for a full search including the drugs dog and every cupboard and compartment.

The internal NEOsmart cam cameras for my van are always recording so I decided to use the van search footage but only after I had blurring it enough to not see any features of the individual staff.
