Preikestolen - Pulpit Rock / El Púlpito

This is a video about Stavanger, the fourth city of Norway, known by his entail with the oil. Placed in Rogaland's province, this charming locality has some very agreeable corners to walk as the Gamle Stavanger, the old town composed by approximately 170 houses of wood constructed at the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century. Stavanger is a city very well designed to cross it by foot. It is very agreeable to walk along the so called blue walk (Bl å Promenade) to visit the market of the fish, and to cross the lake Breiavatnet, located closely together of the cathedral of Stavanger, which dates of the year 1125. One of the most curious places of Stavanger is Øvre Holmegate, with colored streets, which have been named as the Notting Hill of Stavanger.
From the port of Stavanger depart several excursions to the fiords: one of them is the raise to the Preikestolen (the Pulpit Rock), an impressive mountainous formation, which falls approximately 600 meters on Lysefjord's fiord. To come up to the Preikestolen it is necessary to realize a hard trekking of four hours (going and return).
