From my trip back to Oslo I decided to travel with the Overnight Cruise with Hurtigruten from Svolvær to Trondheim and then by train to Oslo.
This meant spending two nights on the Ms Nordlys, a beautiful cruise ship named and decorated after the northern lights. I initially booked a cabin without a window but when I saw it I knew I couldn't handle that for two nights so I made an upgrade for an extra 28 euros for one with a window.
My package was bed and breakfast with the possibility of adding on Lunch and Dinner. I took the lunch for day two and that was awesome.
This experience allows you taking in the majestic Norwegian coastline. Definitely recommend as something to do whilst visiting Norway.
