Honningsvåg is the northern most city in Norway. It is located in Nordkapp Municipality in Finnmark County. Honningsvåg was declared a city in 1996, so it is also one of the smallest cities in Norway.Honningsvag is a small town of 2600 inhabitants in one of the remotest corners in the world. It lies 71 degrees north on the island of Magerøya. Magerøya means “barren island” and this is exactly what it is.
