After three attempts of glassing and having it fail on us, we wonder, will this ever come together?
In this week's episode we go to glass our daggerboard case to the hull - only to have it continuously fail on us!! We glass at night when the temperatures are workable, but each morning when we come back in, we find the resin has not cured.
When we are able to move forward, Matt makes the modifications necessary to turn a portion of the bottom of our hull into a fuel tank on our starboard side. Complete with custom fiberglass fittings and a few coats of the necessary paints, and that area is ready to close up!
Which means, we can now bond down the sole in the owner's hull walkway. Something that has been temporarily down for months - but, once it's permanently down, means we can begin building out the remainder of our furniture on that side.
We hope you enjoy!! :)
Much love from Annapolis!
Jessica, Matt & Georgie
