3 Weeks of hard work here in Shelter Bay Marina in Panama sorting out my electrical problems and even upgrading my power storage to 17,5 kwh. If this is a new world record for express refit upgrades and rebuilds after a lightning strike I don't know. But being in Panama things takes time and to have all this done by myself this fast with everything I needed is more than I ever could dream about. It feels like a miracle that something bigger than me is taking good care of me. Still, a few things to sort out, and my radar system is still not back up and running. Nevertheless, I'm really thankful and happy to have come this far in such a short time. If you wonder why I have been so quiet on all platforms lately, this is the reason. Staying in a marina is expensive and just had to be hard in prioritizing my time and energy. This is not a how-to video but more about sharing my way of thinking and problem-solving. Also not in detail wiring but focusing on the challenges I faced when planning and proceeding with my upgrade.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WATCHING AND SUBSCRIBING!

ABOUT THIS CHANNEL:
I`m sailing around the world in my Bavaria 55 Cruiser, making videos whenever I have time for it. Most of the time I sail singlehanded but occasionally I do have sailing friends onboard. Still in the Caribbean due to Covid and was supposed to be in Asia by now.

Even though this is season 4 on youtube I did not make that many videos in the beginning. Before full-time sailing, I have sailed several seasons in the Med prior to this, and obviously also in Scandinavia. I have been traveling the world before and have also been an active regatta sailor. I had my first sailboat at age 7 and have been sailing ever since. Also, more than 10 years of experience in Search and Rescue at sea in Norway.

PLEASE BE KIND IN THE COMMENTS!
I'm just a normal person sharing my travel adventure through my eyes and experience from my perspective! Remember how I do things that might work for me but not for you. It might even not be the correct way to do things, and I don't have the blueprint either. I'm not perfect and nobody is. The day I believe I know it all and don't think I can learn new things I should go ashore.
