European route E69, also known as the E69 highway, is considered the world's last road because it connects the North Pole to Norway. The 129 kilometer (80 mile) road runs from Olderfjord to Nordkapp in northern Norway, and includes five tunnels totaling 15.5 kilometers (9.6 miles). The longest tunnel, the North Cape Tunnel, is 6.9 kilometers (4.3 miles) long and reaches 212 meters (696 feet) below sea level..
