With @gautelorentsen / "I live in Norway, a vast country I only began to explore and capture during the pandemic. And I have to say I have been blown away by my homeland. Traveling to the Lofoten Islands and going over a fjord is always exciting. I love how massive the cliffs of the mountains are, plummeting straight into the ocean.

There are fjords worldwide, but Norway has the most, with more than 1,000. Most of Norway's coastline consists of fjords, so it is one of the most complex land edges on the planet. And along the shores, you will encounter picturesque towns and medieval churches worth visiting.

One of the systems that always calls my attention is the circular formation shown in the third image of this series - it reminds me of a crown encapsulating the fjord. Other fjords that stand out in Norway are Lysefjord, Naeroyfjord, Geirangerfjord, and Sognefjord. The latter being Norway's longest fjord and the world's second-longest, stretching more than 200 km inland. The longest fjord in the world lies in Greenland - Scoresbysund is 350km long and 600m deep.

Another moody photograph showing the landscapes I like is the third one of the mountain Otertinden in Northern Norway - a distinctive-looking mountain with three sharp peaks. And I would recommend other hikes as well such as Segla, Kjeragbolten, Galdhøppigen, Romsdalseggen Ridge, Ryten & Kvalvika Beach, and Reinebringen. When visiting these locations, it is mesmerizing to see how clouds gather at the top of the peaks and meet the warmer sea air, eventually causing rain - like in the first image of this series. In this regard, did you know the west coast of Norway is known for being one of the rainiest places in Europe?

It took me a while to rediscover my homeland and learn about its peculiarities. So if someone gets inspired to go on a weekend road trip around its home country instead of reminiscing about traveling to the other side of the world, I would be happy!" @nomadict: @gautelorentsen produced an inspiring clip for the Film Festival we are co-hosting with @colorpro.
