Alana Zeitchik and Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib share the agonizing pain that the past year has produced: Six of Alana’s family members were taken hostage on October 7. Thirty-one of Ahmed’s family members have been killed in Gaza. Despite all they’ve gone through, they meet and work together as they seek to construct bridges of humanization, healing, and reconciliation. Partners for Progressive Israel is proud to offer this platform in which we can hear jointly from two peacebuilders, one Palestinian-American and one Israeli-American.
