As tensions rise between the US & Russia, recent events have sparked concerns over the potential for conflict in the Arctic region. Russia deployed a MiG-31 fighter jet after two US B-1B bombers approached the Russian border over the Barents Sea in the Arctic. The question arises: Why is the US provoking Russia?
