Wir starten in diesem Teil unseres Norwegen-Roadtrips auf den Lofoten mit einer Wanderung auf den Volandstind, von dem aus man eine sensationelle Weitsicht auf den Atlantik und auch auf die Kubbholm-Bucht hat. Ein perfekter Vantagepoint, bei dem man sich in die Lofoten verliebt :-)

Weiter geht die Reise zu den bekannten Zimt- und Puddingsschnecken in der Hansens Bakeri im Museumsdorf Nusfjord. Ja, wenn auch etwas sehr touristisch, aber man sollte hier schon einen Stop einlegen.

Auf der Suche nach einem Stellplatz erlebten wir dann den ersten Schock-Moment unseres Vanlife: beim Rangieren auf dem Stellplatz sahen wir nicht, dass eins der Schlaglöcher mit frischen Teer gefüllt war … wie das ausging, seht ihr im Video.

Wieder fanden wir einen abgelegenen Stellplatz auf der Insel Sandøya, bevor wir uns zum nächsten Hotspot begaben: Henningsvær - nicht nur wegen des berühmtesten Fußballplatzes eine Reise wert.

Da wir auch noch ein bisschen Nordland, Nord-Norwegen, erkunden wollten, mussten wir uns leider von den Lofoten verabschieden.

In this part of our Norway road trip we start in the Lofoten Islands with a hike up Volandstind, from which you have a sensational view of the Atlantic and also of Kubbholm Bay. A perfect vantage point that makes you fall in love with Lofoten :-)

The journey continues to the famous cinnamon and pudding rolls at Hansens Bakeri in the museum village of Nusfjord. Yes, although a bit very touristy, but you should make a stop here.

While looking for a parking space, we experienced the first shocking moment of our van life: when maneuvering around the parking space, we didn't see that one of the potholes was filled with fresh tar... you can see how that turned out in the video.

Again we found a remote parking spot on the island of Sandøya before heading to the next hotspot: Henningsvær - worth the trip, and not just because of the most famous football pitch.

Since we also wanted to explore a bit of Nordland, northern Norway, we unfortunately had to say goodbye to the Lofoten.
