The Nordkapp of Norway, known as North Cape in English, is considered the northernmost point of European continent. While it may not be THE northernmost point strictly and geographically speaking, it is certainly the most accessible one. The winding road leading directly to North Cape brings over 20,000 tourists each year to this 300-meter-high plateau, where they can face the vast emptiness. Sure, you can see the endless ocean by simply reaching any coastline, but the opportunity to stand on a 300 meters platform and view the unobstructed horizon, far in the wilderness, is probably something only the North Cape can offer!

Unfortunately, on the day I visited, the wind was howling fiercely. The fact that my DJI Mini 3 Pro drone could even take off was close to a miracle, let alone its struggle to stay steady in the wind. None of the cool shots I had envisioned beforehand (such as flying up from below the cliff) were possible, but having some aerial footage was better than not having any. Under the battering and howling of the strong wind, North Cape is truly the edge of the world.
