After the excitement of our trip to Hornøya island last week, now we are travelling west and north towards Nordkapp - the North Cape.

This is the furthest you can drive in Europe and much further north than you can drive in the USA as well. The roads up here are solid ice and snow, even at the start of April. They are also utterly beautiful. This place is a complete wilderness and somewhere you must visit if you can possibly manage it. You won't be disappointed. In the mean time, watch this video and you'll see why this place should be on everybody's bucket list.

We spent two years self converting our Mercedes Sprinter van into our little home on wheels. After some serious Arctic preparations, it's perfectly capable of taking us all the way to the far north, 300 miles into the Arctic and experiencing as low as -23 Celsius.
