The arctic region of Finnmark is the most remote and wildest area in Europe and with 1,5 inhabitants per square kilometer it is also the least populated. Reindeers are an omnipresent here and the sun is above horizon all night until 15 July. The region apart from picturesque fiords features Nordkapp (North Cape), a 307-metre-high (1,007 ft) cliff that is commonly referred to as the northernmost point of Europe.
