Lofoten is an archipelago on the north west coast of Norway. It's about 100 miles north of the Arctic Circle but its climate is extremely mild for somewhere at that latitude because of the warm water currents that cross the Atlantic Ocean.

We spent a week exploring the incredible scenery here and in this video we're visiting some of the most spectacular places we have ever experienced.

The football pitch at Henningsvær is a huge achievement to be able to find somewhere flat enough and it looks like it's photoshopped. We can confirm it is a real place despite what you may think.

Haukland beach has been named the best beach in Europe and the adjacent Uttakleiv beach has been named Europe's most romantic beach. See what you think when you watch the beautiful hike we did round the headland between these two magnificent beaches.

The Viking museum is a must visit in this part of the world and we can see why with so much fascinating history to learn about.

We finished this week at Hamnøy where we took very many photos of this most popular view. It really does look as stunning as all the photos you've seen of this place on the 'gram. The small village of Reine is right next to Hamnøy and that's where we spent a great night in a park up with one of the best views we have enjoyed so far on this epic Arctic adventure.

We spent two years self converting our Mercedes Sprinter van into our little home on wheels. After some serious Arctic preparations, it's perfectly capable of taking us all the way to the far north, 300 miles into the Arctic and experiencing as low as -23 Celsius.
