Joking aside, U-570 was one of the more...unfortunate U-Boats. Saddled with an inexperienced and easily panicked crew, she would be captured early in the war. In stark contrast to most captured U-Boats, however, she neither sank at sea nor was hidden away, like U-505. No, the British looked at her and decided 'might as well get some use out of this thing, eh?'
And thus was HMS Graph born. She may not have seen any real success in sinking things, but she still proved to be very valuable indeed for the Royal Navy.
