The South Wake Conservationists chapter of NCWF hosts Dr. Robert Brown for an overview of the complex and sometimes tragic history of conservation policy and approaches to protecting wildlife and habitat in the United States. Dr. Robert Brown has had a distinguished career in wildlife conservation. He earned a doctorate in animal nutrition from Penn State University in 1975. He has held faculty positions at several universities. Most recently, he was Dean of the College of Natural Resources at North Carolina State University. He is an avid volunteer and has held leadership positions in numerous conservation organizations, including the North Carolina Wildlife Federation.
