In this video we travel to Hemsedal and go hiking. We explore the "Kjerringkjeften" and on the way up we stop at the famous "Hydnefossen". This waterfall is a spectacular sight and you notice it as soon as you come driving towards Hemsdal from the south.
"Kjerringkjerfen" is translated to "The womens mouth" and is named after the formation of the mountain.
It is not the highest point in the mountains, but certainly the most spectacular. To get to this point we had to hike slippery sections of snow and cross a river to get to the top.
Hemsedal in Norway is best known for winter, skiing and afterski, but this was filmed on an early summer day and there is much more to do in Hemsedal even outside the winter season.
