My favourite spots in the Lofotens and Senja in Northern Norway

If you are travelling to this part of the world, you will realize fast that it is way more than just some cold islands. The hikes here are epic! They are not huge mountains, so it is so cool you can summit so many amazing spots in a week! The hikes are a grind as they are usually 500-600m over 2-3km one way, but thye provide some of the most unique views in the world.

Here are my favourite hikes in the area!

Save these hikes for your Lofotens trip

1. Hesten hike in Senja (island beside Lofotens- ferry and 6hr drive- totally worth it)
Distance: 3.7 km round trip.
Difficulty: Medium
Time: 2-3 hours
Elevation - 520m gain

2. Reinebringen hike in Reine
Distance: 1.4km one wayDifficulty: mediumTime: 1 hour to the topParking: Steffenakken parking lot or the outer harbor of Reine
Elevation gain: 450m

3. Ryten and Kvalvika hikes near Fredvang

4. Torsketunga hike in Henningsvaer
