Hemmed in by the rain, I had to find a quick place to land. Coming in behind the ridge with likely rotors is not ideal but I kept up my speed and hoped for the best. I will definitely be back to fly in northern Tanzania. Stunning scenery and incredibly kind people. The winter season, June through September, will be much better suited for flying and I will return as often as possible. The steep cliffs rising straight from the valley floor combined with intense greens, makes this a natural wonder and breathtaking place to fly. This was my first real flight on the Delta4 after many years flying the Delta2. The wing is spectacular and performs better than I had anticipated. I look forward to seeing what I can accomplish on this new wing!
