Castles, Guinness, Vikings, Temple Bar, Trinity College and so much more. I have added our full itinerary to the description here, as well as websites we used to research Dublin before we went. As I mentioned we enjoyed a 2 hour walking tour, spent a few hours at the Guinness Storehouse and we really loved this!! Plus we toured the Dublin Castle and Trinity College.
Dublin Ireland, full of HISTORY, but besides history tours, there’s a dozen different pub crawls, I mean you are in Dublin, with 750 plus pubs…. Plus you have a choice of themes when it comes to the pub crawls.
But no worries, if you miss one of those tours, just head to Temple Bar Area, you will find several places offering live music, most every night of the week, And talk about live music, have you ever heard of Eurovision? Well if not, do yourself a favor and watch the movie with Will Ferrellyou can thank me later!!! At any rate, EUROVISION is a huge competition that Ireland has set records for winning, yep little old Ireland is full of all kinds of surprises, they have taken home the title 7 times and are the only country to win it three years in a row.
Sitting in this pub enjoying live music you have to wonder how many artist start off in these pubs.
When you have a moment look up Johnny Logan, he won Eurovision twice as a solo singer, and yep you guessed it, he sang in pubs while doing his apprenticeship to be an electrician
We also ate here at the Storehouse Pub, now you will hear some of the local tell you to eat elsewhere, then go to the Temple Bar to drink, but we had their Fish-n-Chips, it was really good, and a huge portion! Flew home, called the number for Park and Fly when we landed, didn’t wait long for our shuttle to show up, there is a McDonalds close to Park and Fly, so we grab Micky D’s before driving home.
