Sharon Hudgins is an award-winning author and journalist who has lived in 10 countries, including Scotland. A former university professor, she has also been a lecturer on numerous tours for National Geographic, Smithsonian, Viking Cruises, and other companies, including a recent cruise around the British Isles to the Scottish Highlands and the Shetland and Orkney Islands. Her next book will be about the changes that have occurred in village life on the north coast of Scotland during the past 50 years.
