After waking from our campsite at Bluff and bidding a farewell to "Flicker" the pub dog, we continue on our journey West along the Capricorn Highway.

The Capricorn Highway is 575 kilometres long and traces the Tropic of Capricorn from Longreach to Rockhampton. It passes through Australia's biggest coal mining area and runs alongside the railway tracks that haul the coal out to be shipped off.

We pass through the interestingly named town of Dingo, home of the World Dingo Trap Throwing Competition and have an interesting time with a sprinkler system at Duaringa Free campsite.

D&B Cycling Australia is a video series documenting our time bicycle touring Australia; a bicycle tour led by our desire to seek out roadside attractions -- everything from the interesting and quirky, to the macabre and obscure.
We had initially planned on bike touring Australia as the first leg of an around the world bike tour, but the Covid-19 Pandemic that struck mid way through the trip forced us to change our plans and extend our Australian cycling adventure.
Thankfully Australia is a huge country with plenty to see, so we'll continue cycling around Australia until it's time to move on to the next adventure.
