I've been visiting Haugesund a few times. It is a small town located in the west coast of Norway, between Bergen and Stavanger. The town is popular as the home of Sildajazz (an international jazz festival) and the Norwegian International Film Festival, where director Dean DeBlois got inspired with his animated blockbuster 'How To Train Your Dragon.'
Recently, I discovered a new coffee bar, Hos Carlos Kaffebar. They serve coffee from domestic roasters. On my visit, the beans were roasted by Solberg & Hansen from Oslo. Good coffee, friendly service, and the pricing is very reasonable. Worth a visit, especially if you're a coffee lover.
