Vanlife on the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland is simply spectacular.

Join us as we explore the stunning Donegal coastline along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. Traveling in our van, we parked up at beautiful harbours, took in breathtaking coastal views, and embraced the ever-changing weather. One of us may have even attempted a bit of a sea dip.

With hardly another tourist in sight, we had this wild and rugged landscape almost entirely to ourselves. Just perfect.

We are the Cookes, Nicola, and Nigel. We love to travel. In 2018 we bought and converted a VW Transporter van and spent 3 years traveling around the UK and Ireland. At the time we also travelled with our beloved cat, Guinness. She was 20. Sadly we lost Guinness in Feb of 2020 and then well the rest of the world went to pot.

Early 2023 we sold our property back in Ireland and hit the road full time. Since then we have visited 20 differnet countires in the van including Norway, Greece, Slovenia and Estonia.

This channel will primarily focus on our travels, with the odd smattering of photography and food thrown in for good measure.
