In this episode, I cycled on Magerøya Island from a campsite to Nordkapp, the northernmost point in Europe that can be reached by road. Then, I visited Skarsvåg, the northernmost fishing village in the world, and finally returned.
It was a mostly sunny day, with strong winds and light rain on the return trip.
There were two major climbs on the way to Nordkapp, but I decided to take all of my gear with me. I encountered other bikepackers along the way, some of whom had left their large bags at the campsite while others had not.
This day marked the midpoint of my bikepacking journey in terms of both distance and time. It's the farthest I've traveled from home in a month and a half since I began this adventure.
