This is a description of the case K.F & A.F v. Norway (39769/17) in the court of human rights, ECHR. It started in 2010 when the family got a baby girl. The "Barnevernet", the Norwegian child protection service, asked a nurse to send a message of worry to them. The father, originating from Morocco was prevented from getting a visa for four years while the mother was fighting in court to keep their child. In Sweden, it took 1 week to get a visa! The child was adopted for the reason that it would stop the parents from using legal means to keep trying to get their child back. The Barnevernet never tried to reunite the child and the family as the art. 8 of the convention of human rights say they have to. Because of this practice, Norway has been convicted again and again in the court of human rights.
