You might know the name Kristoffer Kristofferson because he is famous for some really popular songs like "Me and Bobby McGee," "For the Good Times," and "Help Me Make It Through the Night." He was one of the best songwriters in the world and one of the smartest people, too. But, unfortunately, towards the end of his life, some really sad things happened. Kristofferson released his first album called Kristofferson in 1970. Besides being a great songwriter, Kristofferson was also part of a country music supergroup called the Highwaymen from 1985 to 1995. In 2004, he was honored by being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, and in 2014, he received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. He won three Grammy Awards out of a total of thirteen nominations.
