Hello and welcome to the 3rd episode of the 4th season of Adventure Now!

In this episode we leave Pegal Bay, in Orkney and sail Altor of Down, a Moody 44 to Stromness, visit the amazing Ring of Brodgar, which is believed to be the ancients' way of communicating with the outer space civilisations.

After that we leave Orkney and sail back to Scrabster on the mainland UK to pick up a new set of batteries and a battery charger for the ship. We discover the dramatic Holborn Head cliffs near Scrabster harbour and pick up an old fashion bottle of unpasteurised milk in the nearby town of Thurso which brings back childhood memories.

After a very enjoyable week in Scrabster we decide to push off into a challenging westerly and sail to the Faroe Islands. As if the 200 nautical mile beat wasn't enough of an effort to get there, the Faroe Islands welcome us with katabatibc winds of 40 knots as we sail into the fjord heading for Tvoroyri on the island of Suduroy.

We arrive safely, drop the anchor in the thick mud and raise a glass to our successful passage!
