Chris May joined us to talk about the origins of the Fairburn & Sykes Fighting knife and the work he has done studying unarmed combat in WWII. He discussed techniques used and the wartime training by the SOE, OSS, Rangers and other special forces. Chris runs a Martial Arts course teaching WWII defence techniques:

Andy Chatterton then joined to talk about his next book. He thrilled us with the story of a small group of Auxiliary men who were recruited by Paddy Mayne for 1 SAS and operations in France in 1944. Andy has done sterling work highlighting the real story of the UK's Auxiliary units.
