Hi guys,
Let me share with you this video of my 7500km and 1 month journey through 8 countries, to reach places as Lysebotn, Trollstigen, Lofoten, Nordkapp...
It all started in Brno, then I went to Poland to take a ferry to Sweden. From Sweden I went to Norway (Oslo), and here is where the magic starts, Lysebotn was the biggest surprise in this trip, to reach this little town you have an amazing 2-3 hours on mountain roads with amazing sights. I highly recommend to spend there 1 day to relax or do some hiking. To leave the town you can use the same road or take a ferry.
Reaching Bodo is an amazing journey, please follow the coastline route, you are going to use at lease 10 ferrys (don´t worry some are free or you pay only 2€). The ferrys will allow you to rest but also save you from cold or rain. If you leave early in the morning you can do Namsos - Bodo in a single day.
Then Lofoten comes, this palce is just amazing. Do you like hiking and good views? It´s hard to find a better place than this one. Here I want to recommend 2 places to stay: FURU Hostel & Café (in the middle of Lofoten) and The perfect stop (at the end of Lofoten). I wasn´t lucky with the weather, it was mostly raining and windy, my plan was to spend 1 week there.
Nordkapp - just WOW. This place feels like another planet. It starts at 1:58:50.
Here you can start seeing reindeers and nature like nowhere else.
If you plan to go to Norway, whatever you do, don´t skip this part of the country.
Just check the weather forecast, trust me, you don´t want to go there if the weather is bad, not only because you won´t be able to see anything at the Globe, but because the weather there is extreme (is the northern point of european continent) and it changes every 10 minutes.
When me and my friend Manni reached it, it was all cloudy, 2 hours later it was sunny... at 2am (there is no night, you have midnight sun).
The best tip anyone can give for this trip: be flexible on where you stay based on weather and acomodation price.
Acomodation: I mostly used Booking. You also have cabins, campings (with everything you need) and airbnb.
Wanna save money? Get a sleeping bag and camp when the weather allows you.
Wanna save money? Go to Circle K (Gas station) and buy a coffee thermo for 35€, you are able to use it as many times as you want. Not only this will save you a lot of money, but hot coffee will be your best friend in the cold and rainy days in Norway. I used this gas station as breakfast place almost every day. I even used it for lunch and dinner some day since they have a large variety of products like pizza, burguers, burritos...
Is Norway as expensive as people say? hmm... there are 2 items very expensive there: gas (2€ per litre) and alcohol.
I was able to eat a pizza at the restaurat at the same price in Norway as in Lithuania, 14€.
Hostels, you can find them starting 30 40€, the campings the same. If you decide to wildcamp it´s free...
Before stepping to the next country let me tell you this: Norway and norwegians are amazing!
The friendliest people I have ever meet (same level as spanish people).
Thank you Norway, I will be back!
Finland, I don´t understand why some people don´t like it, of course you don´t have the mountains and fiords from Norway, but it is more wild, you can see very beautiful nature and the city I found the prettiest, Helsinki.
The Baltics: once you leave the ferry from Helsinki to Tallin you can feel a big change.
People stop being that friendly, the driving experience is simply crazy (if you are a biker it can be very dangerous), it is almost impossible to find parking, it is not as cheap as you might think.
Am I saying you shouldn't visit this countries? Noo! Visit them, the 3 Baltic capitals are so beautiful!
I´m just recommending to don´t visit them on bike since it´s dangerous (I should have made a separated video, "driving in the Baltics" :D), it´s a lot smarter to fly there and use public transport.
HONDA ADV 350 - it was perfect all the time, no issues. I got 3.2l average consumption throughout the trip. The big space under the seat makes it a good option for long distance.
I think that´s all my friends. If you have any question let me know in the comments.

Let me finish mentioning some places you shouldn´t miss on your trip to Norway: Oslo, Lysebotn, Stavanger, Bergen, Ålesund (Big surprise), Trondheim, Bodo, Lofoten, Nordkapp.
Enjoy the ride!
